What a First-Time Guest Should Expect
The boat: A drift boat seats two anglers, with your guide rowing from the middle. You fish from a standing position at the bow or stern — no paddling or steering required from you.
The day: Full-day float trips run approximately 6–8 hours on the water, with a streamside lunch included. Your guide rows, reads water, and coaches casting and presentation throughout.
Who it suits: Float trips work well for complete beginners and experienced anglers alike. Because you're not wading, it's a good option if you have mobility concerns or simply prefer to stay dry.
What to bring: We provide rods, reels, flies, and tackle. Bring layered clothing, polarized sunglasses, sun protection, and your Colorado fishing license.
